That is not the number 1 job of cops. In some cities I would say yes, but in the majority of cities the police department do not push quotas. In the city I worked for they were real big on property crimes. Write tickets, whoopdy doo, catch a burglar or a thief you were the Man.

Sounds like they were taking every precaution to make sure he made it to jail alive. Supervisor came on radio and made statement that each officer involved in handling subject had to have working body camera.
Also the subject evidently still had broken handcuffs on both wrists.

This POS will be given al the rights and considerations that he failed to give to Mr. Holloway. Too bad police cameras don't fall off on the "fracas as they worked to control him as he tried to take a gun from the arresting police's holster"! I would buy that!

The ticket quota deal which I heard from some cops themselves pisses me off. So, the Sheriff of Chief sets a quota. If that quota isn't being reached then what? Sounds too much like a mobster shakedown.
