Which version of the 2014 Spurs team? The one that was pushed to 7 games by Mavs in the first round or the one who beat the Spurs in 5?

Either.

This Cavs teams wasn't that good.

This right here. 3rd best overall season record in NBA history. People are letting their perception be swayed too strongly by the fact that they didn't sweep a decimated Cleveland team. Ignoring the fact that they were going against the best player in the NBA with tons of Finals experience and they had none.

If I were to take a stab at it, at their peaks

1. 2014 spurs
2. 2001 lakers
3. 2013 heat
4. 2008 celtics
5. 2015 warriors

and then just because I want to put a second laker team here

6. 2000 lakers

you think that team was better than the 2013 version? That was lebron at his absolute peak. they won 29 straight games that year.

No doubt but the Spurs kinda slept walked through that Mavs series & revenge was a huge motivating factor against the Heat. The Spurs would probably sleep walk against this wounded Cavs team & Lebron would manage to account for at least one win. I don't think the Spurs would sweep.

I honestly meant to type 2013 on my phone

That was lebron at his greatest and they took down a legit spurs team in the finals. I think it was either here or on the SEC rant OT thread that I was going off on how much I loved that heat team

Where would you put the Warriors all-time?

Just for reference, not to answer the question (since numbers alone don't tell the complete story)

Top teams by season winning %

Golden State is in the top 10, tied with 4 other teams for regular season wins in the 82 game season era.

Wow. Top 5 all-time and not a single team ahead of them played before year 2000. That's bold my man.

Really? I'd say that, even though his shot count shot up, this series was Lebron at his best easily. With any help, the Cavs take it. Call it an excuse, but when Dellavedova and JR Smith, who I believe has the lowest basketball IQ of all time, are your two biggest threats after Lebron, a team like Golden State losing the series shouldn't ever even be in doubt. Before Kyrie got hurt, people were calling for a sweep or GS in 5. Lebron carried the Cavs to game 6 and was a stat machine.

The 95-96 Bulls? Talk about scary good. That team was a monster.

Alright, this thread is confusing me. I'm gonna blame it on me being ignorant and bow out.

Eh, I misread the comment

Uhh I don't know, they are 5th in our century, right off the bat they are behind the 67 celtics and the 72 lakers. Then the 82 sixers. Then the 87 lakers happen and the 86 celtics. Then the 90 pistons happen. Then we have the 93, 96, and the 97 bulls. They fit somewhere after all of those
