LSU Is 30-5 In Its Last 35 Games. We Aren't Done.

This team is not finished. They are going to bounce back and make a run. It was a bad game at an awful time, but there is another game. And another. And another.

30-6 is still awful good but it's when you win that matters

We won 5 straight after our last loss. We get vandy and win with Lange we only need two more wins to get to the ship against csf/tcu.. We absolutely can do this. The mood will change once we win again

need 3 more after vandy

Can't wait for the 180

Completely agree. We have the ponies to get it done.
That said, we can't have these brainfarts with all these errors, that includes Manieri with leaving a kid in too long when he's obviously rattled. Don't wait until we get into a hole and then try to fix it. We're a better team than that.
I think the gravity and stage of what is being played somewhat played into Poche's (the kid is a true freshman if I remember correctly) errors but after that, the team just looked flat.
I mean Dunn never even went out to talk to Poche. I'm not throwing darts at anyone or dumping on anyone but I was expecting that. But I just watch it on tv so what do I know.
I'll be cheering for them 100% on Tuesday, I can promise you that.

That's just Mainieri. Don't look for it to suddenly change.

A little reverse psychology?

Poche is a true Sophomore.

That's my point. He always does that. If there ever was a time to not do it, it's now.
Guess we'll see.

Thanks for the info. I thought he was a freshman.

I don't think they have enough arms to make it all the way back.

I'd say we definitely do. No guarantee we actually do pull it out but our pen has been inconsistent but when they're good they're good.
Also by the time we get deep into our pen so should the other teams. They're not going to all be first round picks top to bottom. We just need to get back to hitting the ball with consistency and authority.

We are done.
Lightning will need to strike-no pun intended, to win it now.
The bull pen is not deep enough or consistent enough to make it.
I hope I'm wrong but I'm looking at the reality of the situation and it's not good.

LSU has 6 championships... in those six, we only have 2 losses. 1993 to Long Beach State. They would have had to beat us twice and they couldn't. 2009 to Texas in the best of 3 series. We lost game 2.
