What's your favorite mild-medium smoke, preferably in a corona or robusto? One friend suggested Montecristo as a brand he liked. Are the Montecristo Whites worth a damn? I usually go with the Rocky Patel 1999s or edges for mild-mediums.
Any thoughts?

The Rocky Patel Decade is my go-to smoke.

Ashton ESG or VSG or my new favorite Estaban Carreras Covenant.

Love em, but too full for this occasion.

Padron 1926 #6 robusto

try the Montecristo Desde in a Robusto. I am not a fan of the whites, probably one of the few MCs that I don't care for.
If you are into boutiques, I smoked an amazing one the other day called Southern Draw. I was highly skeptical, but this was an amazing stick. The Kudzu is very peppery and probably not something you would be interested in, but the quick draw maduro was fantastic.

It's not a robusto, but this is a pretty good stick that fits what you are describing perfectly.

MASTER’S EDITION CLUB HOUSE TORO
I have had a few of these, and they pair up very well with wine. I prefer a bit more pepper when I smoke one with the hard stuff, but to each is own.

CAO Italia
You know how I know you don't know shite about cigars?
An absolute abomination of cigars. The Italia is one of the worst "name" cigars on the market, only eclipsed by the Americana. CAO, after being acquired has made some really bad sticks. The exception to this is the Brazilla, although they were much better before being bought out, and the Amazon Basin. The Basin is near impossible to find now, and is by far the best cigar produced by CAO since being bought out by General...

Padron 1964 fits here. A bit pricey at $15 per stick at Habana Port...not saying Habana Port is expensive. It's just s good cigar.
A more full bodied choice is Jericho Hill. A newer, smaller company. Loved it.
ETA: Jericho runs about $9

Monte Cristo Classic #2 is great. Rocky Patel "The Edge" also very good.
Posted on 6/13/15 at 4:38 pm to JumpingTheShark
I think the edge is a bit too strong for what he wants.

What's a good cheapish cigar in the $3 to $4 range thats good for daily smokes, handing out to people, something to smoke when you're not in a situation to sit down and enjoy it but would still like to partake.

The italia and american are both good smokes. Nothing worse than a damn wannabe cigar snob. People like what they like. Who are you to judge people based on what specific smokes they like?
Eta: judge google CAO Italia and see the multitude of reviews praising the smoke, yet the All-Knowing you shite talks it douche.
