Have to drive to Lafayette from New Orleans today. I-10 or 90?

I can't leave until 1. I want to take I-10,but given how shitty the weather will be would spending the extra time and taking 90 be worth it? All it takes is one person and getting through BR will be awful.

Almost no reason not to take 90. I don't like my odds gambling on I-10.

I drive to that area from New Orleans at least once a month and always take 90. I don't trust the Baton Rouge drivers to keep traffic running smoothly.

90 without a doubt. Most of the traffic in BR will be Port Allen East bound but I still wouldn't risk it. Get on 90 and set the cruise control.
