... Um. Everything?

Cheesy? Really? Low budget? Really?

Did we watch the same movie? That movie is a masterpiece.

Apparently not.

Go to the scene at 42:00 mark and tell me that is not horrible acting, overexaggeration of emotion, and almost pure comedy. Or in other words, cheesy.

And again, how cheesy and ridiculous.

I don't particularly like pulp fiction or inception and goodfellas is alright but not in the top 100

Am I the only one that thinks that Empire Strikes Back is far superior to Episode IV? I also think that Godfather is a fantastic piece of cinema but Godfather Part II is more enjoyable.

Favorite - Godfather Part II

Least Favorite - Forrest Gump

By far superior I mean that one is in my Top 5 and the other is just barely in my Top 50.

I don't necessarily consider it a bad film. It's too sentimental and emotional for me. It should have been called "Forrest Gump: An Idiot's Adventure Through American History, Chicken Soup for The Soul Edition"

No. Episode IV is terrible. It is highly rated out of nostalgia and for what it meant to SciFi as a whole. It is the invention of the movie epic.

It also has to do with the fact that George Lucas didn't direct Empire Strikes Back and had less to do with the story than he did in the first one.

It's not. Have you seen any movies before 1990?

Love Fellowship and Return but two towers is kind of boring.

Fellowship is a complete fricking snoozefest compared to Two Towers.

I guess I'll go against the grain and say Cuckoo's Nest. I'm not entirely comfortable with how the film pretty much fully endorses Jack Nicholson's viewpoint... you know what? Perhaps mentally fragile kids shouldn't be exposed to sex, booze, and drugs. The film wants to entirely blame Nurse Ratchet for everything, and she is awful, but it's not all The system's fault. Some of it is on Jack, too. And the film never takes that viewpoint seriously, that maybe some societal norms have a value.

I like that you generally have a thoughtful viewpoint but... the shockingly common use of frontal lobe lobotomies by American mental health practitioners is an important story that overshadows your concerns IMO.

In light of what we now know about their behavior, their indifference to the welfare of those they were charged to care for, defines many of these people as evil IMO.

The evil role that the Nurse Ratchets and doctors played in those procedures remains a relatively unknown phenomena to the general public and ought to be understood since it reflects what individuals and institutions may do without adequate external inspection. My off the cuff personal complaint? It would have been nice to name Walter Freeman and Howard Dully somehow in the film.

It's much darker than the other two movies, it has the most quotable lines (I know. No, I am your father. Do or do not, there is no try), we're left not knowing the fate of Han Solo, Luke is transformed from a Rebel Pilot to a Jedi then loses his hand, We find out Vader is Luke's father, we are introduced to two of the best characters (Boba Fett and Yoda), there are no Ewoks (The worst characters besides Jar Jar), you don't have to see old pasty white Darth Vader (Which nearly ruined the character for me)

Easy for me:

Godfather is my favorite movie of all time. I love all the other movies I've seen on the list except one that I hate:

Least favorite (hate): Forrest Gump has no place on this list.

Only movie on the list I haven't seen is The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

You should remedy that. It's really very good.
