If you decline do you still keep your place in line?
Posted on 6/10/15 at 5:56 pm to CE Tiger
Wouldn't tix go to next in line not next caller?

What's the season ticket waitlist now?
Posted on 6/10/15 at 6:26 pm to CE Tiger
If you're able to front the money it might be worth it to buy in and just sell off the whole package at cost.
What that'll do is bump you out of the waiting list and into the relocation pool and then you can move into some cheaper seats. Of course, almost all the cheaper seats won't be available for your first several years, but it's a thought.

Kind of sounded like they are just trying to sell. I responded to s voice mail and they didn't even ask for name or information

Me too, they never asked for my name either. It's the 3,050 or the 3,080 club level seats.
Posted on 6/10/15 at 8:30 pm to Laaz2750
they are also only single seats available.

Had season tickets for years. Gave them up after the Super Bowl season. Figured that was as good as it would ever be. Plus, it's a hundred times better to watch the game on television. It really is.

minus all the constant commercials.
and logging on here and looking at all the fans freaking out
<---- guilty myself
but still.. its crap.
I'd rather go to the game a lot of times. It makes you appreciate some random things.
like, how quickly the holes disappear at the line of scrimmage... holy frick that LB closed fast!!!!
how did he make that throw in all of that traffic?
that throwing lane didn't look like it was there...
but by God he did it.
3rd downs... minus that stupid arse new siren... you feel like you are making a difference by yelling your arse off.

Take it easy on VOR. He's about a thousand years old. The fact that he watches television and doesn't sit around an antique radio is impressive.

a slight exaggeration.
I've seen plenty of games in the Dome, and I occasionally go to one after giving up my tickets. To the poster who mentioned commercials, you can't be serious. Nothing is more obnoxious than those horrible commercial breaks in the Dome. And stoppage of play in the NFL has become absurd.
And, overall, you can see the game better on television, including the details you can't see in the Dome. I understand there's excitement with the crowd (although there can be some obnoxious assholes, too), and I'll always remember the return to the Dome after Katrina and the NFC Championship game. Those games were great in person. Like I said, though, there won't be a season to top that one . . . the first Super Bowl season.
BTW . . .
Football is better on TV.
Basketball is better in person.

Biggest downside of watching from the house.
Actually, I can go to a neighborhood bar that's not too crowded and have the best of both worlds.

I disagree, but I guess it depends on the view. The game experience is much better in the Dome as well, and it's not even close IMO. Now if you want to argue the parking, hot as balls weather, traffic, etc as part of the experience...maybe. But I'd prefer to be there 99/100 times.
Comparing it to the value of Pelicans games though, I don't find it comparable. Both sports are equally entertaining to me, except one is always at night, downtime is minimal, and the dead spots are filled with entertainment instead of commercials. I will agree with you there.

That's not what they told me yesterday. You can get pairs of club seats, although it is true that all of the cheaper seats are only available in singles.

They are 2 completely different experiences, and both have their upsides.
I will add this to the positives of watching on TV:
Beer/food prices & variety
Bathroom lines
replays
fast forward commercials

If you have the money buy those things and sell the tickets but not the rights to the seats. You'll make money
