How did Lebron win with JR Smith playing like such hot garbage?

I love Lebeon, but honestly thought after Game 1, the Cavs would be swept. I thought--like most--that that was their best shot, and having come up short, it would likely be over in 5. After hearing that Kyrie was done, I knew the Cavs had no shot.
Yet somehow, in the 3 days between games, I convinced myself that JR Smith would be key. I thought he could go off for 25-30, take some heat off Lebron, and they may could sneak a game out of this series(though I thought it'd be in Cleveland). But how the frick did they win that game with him, not only playing like shite on offense, but committing some of the worst fouls I've ever seen. Lebron played about the exact same game tonight as he did Thursday. Except with Kyrie. And they fricking won? (Eddie Murphy Delirious)

David Blatt's defensive schemes holding Stephen Curry to 5-23 shooting from the field.

Good ? Didn't LeBron miss like 15 of 19 down the stretch?

The series will be much more interesting if JR and Shumpert heat up from behind the arc.
I was perplexed by JR's entire game tonight. I feel like it takes a long time for his brain to process everything. That's the nicest way to put it

Because they suffocated Curry into a rough shooting night. He had maybe 4 open threes all night. The rest were extremely well contested.
This is also the answer to the "what's wrong with Steph Curry" question that will certainly be thrown out there over the next few days.

People say tyreke has the BBall IQ of a pencil. What does that make J.R then?

Cleveland mucked it up and made it ugly. It was nice to see guys get in Curry's grill a little bit, I wish teams would do it more.

Pretty sure you're a Lebron hater, but you're just making my point. I thought Lebron would have to play very efficient AND Jr would have to go off. The fact that. Lebron missed so many shots(which could be explained, but I'll save that for another thread) and Jr played like such shite makes it amazing that Cleveland actually scored enough points to win the game. And in Oakland makes it even more mind boggling.
This is not a Lebron dick-rider thread(though, I will fairly admit I was one 5-6 years ago)--I literally can't understand how the Cavs actually won this game. And I watched it.

I can't either.
And they could be up 2-0.
I don't know anything anymore.

Live by the 3 die by the 3.
They get killed if Curry is shooting at his average rate. They played great D on Curry, but Curry can knock them down with ease even against good defense. Didn't happen tonight and the Cavs were able to walk away with a win.
Also Thompson was red hot to start and got cooled down by early foul trouble.
GS has just not been shooting well in this series.
Also LBJ didn't shoot as well, but I thought he had a better overall game than Game 1.

I thought they would lose by 20-30 save for JR going off for 30+. He didn't and LeBron missed 20+ shots. Mind frick.

Thank god the god Curry gave em one. If only GS had someone else playing well. How hard can people hate?!
