True or False: Cam Newton will be a Top 5 QB in the NFL in 5 years

This seems absurd on the surface, but it really isn't that much of a stretch.
Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning will all be out of the league.
Roethlisberger, Rivers, and Romo will probably be out as well.
It is safe to assume that Rodgers and Luck will be Top 5 QBs in 2020, but then who? Obviously there will be new QBs entering from college, but the prospects seem slim given the flops in the last few years.
I'm no Newton fan, but he's got a helluva chance to be in the Top 5 by 2020 considering how many good/great QBs will be out of the league by then.
Full disclosure: This thread was somewhat stolen from Cowherd's show this morning.
ETA: The main focus of the thread is Newton, but I also wanted to point out how shitty the current/upcoming crop of QBs are in the NFL.

In 5 years, my top 5 guess would be:
1) Luck
2) Rodgers
3) Wilson
4) Stafford
5) Tannehil
Don't have much faith in the younger guys just yet.

False, could be but I doubt it. Rodgers, Luck, Flacco, Ryan would be 4 ahead of him.

Top 10? Yeah.
Top 5? Probably not.

Not sure, but it's pretty alarming that college and pros are headed in opposite directions with QBs right now. Going to be a lot of shitty NFL football because of the lack of QBs capable of doing what every offense wants.

I have a tough time giving it to Flacco, because playoff Flacco would be borderline top 5 today, but regular season Flacco is around 12-17.
I think Teddy Bridgewater has what it takes, and Matt Ryan is accurate and has armstrength.

I'm just curious what we are judging them on. Brees, Manning & Brady seem to be top tier because they put up big numbers during the reg season & have a lengthy playoff career [More Manning & Brady].

I can respect that. Obviously the Garoppolo pick was to irritate some people more than anything else.
I just don't see where Cam Newton gets into the top 5.

Clearly FALSE
1. Rodgers
2. Luck
3. Wilson
4. Stafford
5. Tannehill
6. Ryan (as a Saints fan this kills me)
7. Flacco
8. Bridgewater
9. Garoppollo
10. Mariota
Newton somewhere in the 11-15 range. I think Cam doesn't possess the skills necessary to be a top 5 QB. Additionally, I don't think Carolina gets good enough to help him really.
Carolina most likely fires Ron Rivera at the end of this year and goes through another HC as well before 5 years are up. Coaching turnover kills QBs
