Alright everyone, I am in the market for a pickup truck and have currently narrowed down to the Tundra, Sierra, and F150. I currently drive a 2003 Lexus LX470. I am completely new to the truck market and would like to recieve any input you all can offer. Most likely I will be buying new. Thanks in advance.

Apples and oranges brother.
Everyone is going to recommend the truck they have and who they fanboy for.
All you can do is get seat time in each rig and see what fits you.
I have an F150 and I love it. Rides well, gets 17mpg, 4wd works and the A/C blows harder than a fat chick.

Polar Pop is correct, I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 and love it, it's comfortable gets 15 to 17 mpg depending on how I drive it and is the best looking imo.
My company truck is a 2011 F150 and I don't dislike it but it isn't as comfortable and it feels smaller, gets 14 mpg.

That 470 is a beast and will probably never die. Keep it.

Yep, Preach it Pop.
BTW: Check out the Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4.

i have the new silverado, my dad has the new gmc... take your pick. Rides like a cadillac and plenty of room. super nice interior and accessories on the inside.

I think the 2015 F150s look better than the 2015 Chevy's and Sierras but that's just personal preference. That being said, the back seat in the F150s are way bigger than the others

They're all nice and they all cost a ton. For me, I like the GM products for ride, trim, and finish.
And polar pop is right...I drive a GM product, but have ridden in them all. I don't find the tundra seats comfortable at all.

If you have a Lexus now and like it, get a Tundra or Tacoma. Same quality.

How many miles u have in that Lexus?

136000, I only want to get rid of it because we are planning on purchasing some property very soon and I would like a truck to lug stuff around in. To all the other posters, all of this is helping with my decision. Seriously, thanks.

What u want for it?
I've driven Chevys, Toyota (Lexus) & Acura (Honda). The Honda and Toyota are more durable and longer kasting..... So if that is what you want, go w the Tundra. I think my Tahoe is more conforatble than any of the previous SUVs I've driven.... And I feel like the 4x4 in it is better suited for the hunting that I do than the Acura or Toyota was.
I'm honestly a Chevy man, but the others are better built vehicles. I got past my Ford desires.

Sierra
Tundra
The Tundras are pretty damn reliable, but I couldn't ever get comfortable in them. I drive like a black person, and the steering wheel doesn't go as low as I'd like. I am very picky about little things, and the Tundra steering wheel isn't centered on the driver's seat. Drove me nuts. All of the ones I've driven ride harder than my 2500HD.
Sierra is extremely comfortable, but relatively new. I think they've had a few problems already. If you're gonna use it off-road, make sure to get the G80 limited slip in it. It works half of the time, but it's for sure better than having an open diff. I am not sure if that is an option anymore though since all of the fancy traction control shite is used now.
That was aggravating as hell on my old Tahoe. When a tire started slipping, it would just put the brakes on that tire. fricking retarded

If you ain't got a tundra, you ain't got shite...
But really, if you're buying it to use on your new property, why not buy an older truck? Buy something inexpensive like an older tacoma? You can beat it up and not feel bad about it

The best advice I have for you is to go test drive each of the types of trucks that you like then you will find out which you want to buy

Not really that bad, but yes. Seats in everything I've driven except the F250 are all of the way back; steering wheel all of the way down; bottom tilted up. I like to be comfortable when I drive. Can't do that in a tundra

I get a mean lean going on long trips so I can stretch my long arse out. Waving at the homies from the back window almost.
I havent ridden in a Silverado any newer than '08 model, but I hear that they ride so smooth.
