The "festival" is just two more days. Just wait it out and this urge will pass.

Seems that your looking for opinions on the goat and not suggestions on other brands. Soooo, yes a coworker of my has one and loves it. I've been in it several times and am more than impressed. He's getting amazing mileage, ride is just as smooth, and cab is quieter than any on the market. Fwiw I'm a Tundra guy and my next purchase will be really difficult after riding in that goat. On the jump it's fast but lays down rather quickly. I'm used to Tundras monstrous 5.7 though. Lots around here just hate dodge becasue it's dodge. The rep that was build over the yrs was not a good one. Hints the rebranding as RAM and all of the body/int changes. At this point they've redemed themselves in my book. Deff competing for the top spot in all categories.

It's only a V6 though. No way I would ever buy a full-size pickup with a V6.

This X1000. I've been truck shopping as well and am aghast at the prices. I cannot believe the demand is so great they command what they are asking for them

Positives... fuel economy

Negatives... diesel costs, diesel repair costs and it's a Dodge

ETA: Get you a Tundra baw

if you can afford to buy a ford, get a ford
if you can't afford a ford, get a gmc
if you can't afford both, buy a dodge.
