Note: Anything that is over 2 hours old has more than likely already been posted on Tigerdroppings.

Not really. He is much better going to one of the other 13 SEC schools.

Sentimentality is a very slippery slope.

I don't want him to take a roster spot just because he is Shaq's son.

However, if he is good enough and can contribute, then sign him up.

I would dread the idea of LSU's most iconic alum sending his talented son to play basketball for LSU. The media attention and notoriety really pisses me off!!!

If he's good enough to play at the SEC level. I am not a fan of signing kids based soley on who their parents are. Shaq does enough for the school, getting his kid here is not going to help recruiting or anything like that.

Is he better than Maravich's son?

If any legacy has ever earned a right to have their son on LSU's team, it would be Shaq or Pistol Pete. If he's good enough, I'd love to see him here.

Keyword here. Hes still has a long way to go. He may give up basketball for all we know. Dont jump the gun and say he needs a scholarship just because hes Shaq's son, with that said I hope they do a documentary on him like they did Snoop dogg's son.

Of course, but does a billionaire's son really need a scholarship?

I say let him walk on.
