6 months in and talking marriage? OP fricked.
Talking about marriage 6 months into a relationship is not unusual, unless you're under the age of 21.

No, that would be a joke. I am being serious

Did she come clean about the side piece she has been comparing to you?
Very good advice that was given to you in the other thread...she is comparing you to another guy that she either is hooking up with or wants to hook up with.

Anyhow, come to find out there were some underlying issues as well. Stress, hormones etc. The OT truly is all knowing
That was just a copout for her being a bitch. Doesn't mean she won't change her behavior, it's just very unlike women to actually own up to their actions and shortcomings, and instead blame things external to them just being a bitch.

OP's girlfriend makes him clean baseboards on the weekend, do laundry, some light dusting, etc.

But trust me, she will be conscious of your concerns for a few weeks, maybe a month, but it won't change the fact that she's still thinking those things about you. After a while she won't be able to help it and will go back to her old ways. Best of luck.
Yeah but to some extent this is called "being around women."
While I agree that guys shouldn't put up with unnecessary shite and shouldn't feel trapped in a relationship, 99% of men in relationships get nagged. Probably 75% feel they get nagged excessively.
This site has good advice (sometimes) and I like that it doesn't tell dudes to just suck it up and continue in misery, but it certainly overstates the likelihood of finding a relationship free of the faults common to nearly all women.

When nagging is about to start, and it does with every relationship, that's when you need to be firm. Women are waiting for a response to the nagging.
How you respond dictates the nature and frequency with which how the nagging will continue.

I guess my point is that it will continue. She will nag you again. Obviously being firm can reduce how frequently that issue arises, but it's something I'll have to repeatedly deal with. There are things that I'll probably never eradicate that she doesn't like, so I'm alright with it as long as there is understanding that I don't like it, effort to reduce it, and it never becomes too excessive.

I don't know if it will happen again or not only time will tell. At least then I will know for sure.

I do. It will.
When it does, please make another thread letting us know we were right twice.

I wish you good luck because you obviously care for her, but there's a difference between nagging someone to buy different clothes or clean the apt and telling him that he doesn't smell good in the mornings and you don't like the way he walks and asking why he isn't happy all the time.
Unless you're about to go get some walking lessons, shower in the middle of the night before she wakes up and seek counseling to be happier all the time, these things will not change and her opinion will not change whether she voices it or not. Those are pretty mean things to say to someone for whom you allegedly care. That's not nagging. Think about how she would feel had you said those very same things to her.
I'm a woman and if I were a man, I'd skedaddle. Stress and hormones didn't make her feel that way. They may have made her blurt out what she was thinking.

Women need to have a man that reigns that shite in. Otherwise it spirals out of control.

Look, sometimes women have to know what the deal is and that you have the balls to do it.
You've told her, now if it happens again, she knows the outcome.

1. I told her she needed to stop or I would leave
2. She said she would
So you told her to stop being herself and she agreed to change for a few days? Congrats, that sounds permanent.

The better question is why in the hell would you want to stay with someone who thinks you walk, smell, and aren't happy.
Talk about settling. Who cares how hard you put your pimp hand down.

Was this the nagger or the hairy balloon knot? Or was that the same chick?

She was comparing you to someone else in her life. Now start doing the same to her
It's not like her thoughts are now gone. She just isn't gonna say anything for a couple of weeks. I've never had a girl criticize me like that, and I'd swiftly put her in her place if she did....which is in the kitchen taking all of the painal I could give her
