I wish we would throw a parade marching our nuclear warheads through the streets.

It's the 70th Anniversary of the Allied Victory in WW2 in Europe. This is the last big anniversary for most of their WW2 vets -- they will be almost all gone for the 80th Anniversary.

This is a good time for Russia to strut a bit for the sake of the old Vets who won their war against Nazi Germany.

But, I do say "frick Russia" because they are a nation of drunken, ignorant, lazy, arrogant, corrupt, tyrannical and immoral people.

We have more than our fair share of "drunken, ignorant, lazy, arrogant, corrupt, tyrannical and immoral people" here in the U.S.

Yes, but, until recently, we did not allow them to run our Fed, State and Big City govts.

. . . and when Hillary becomes POTUS, we'll be lots closer to being like Russia, except for the part about fighting for our national interests.

As much as I despise the USSR, their anthem was outstanding.

Not on Russia's level. Vodka is russian for water. And by looking at the gut on some of the older males, I think it may be the only thing they drink. The U.S. ain't pretty, that's for sure, but we arn't on Russia's level of nasty.

I think you get a half chest full of metals just for getting drafted.

The commie uniforms were a lot better. These guys look like they're rejects from a military middle school.

ETA: Watched some more of it. Don't speak Ruskie, but I hope when they got to the flyovers the narrator was saying: "And here is our knock-off of the American C-5. Next, our knock-off of the American B-1, followed by knock-offs of the AH-64, AH-1, SH-3, CH-53, and KC-135. Last, here are our knock-offs of the F-15 and F-16."

Russian aviation has been second in the world only to the United States. Their aviation record from the end of WWII until today has been elite. With novel and domestic designs, not just back engineering or copying like the Chinese. America's has hands down been number one but aviation is not an aspect of the Russian military I'd attempt to downplay.

Agreed. They sure as hell didn't copy the Ekranoplan from the US.
