Neighbor just walked over some fried wild turkey breasts that were strutting in Nebraska Saturday. Damn good.

Both were excellent
Burger had a bbq aioli sauce, blue cheese, and smoked bacon. Rings were crispy but batter was pretty thin so you could actually taste the onion

A veggie loaded salad with sliced fried chicken tenders and some garlic/parm French bread. Don't think I broke my ribs but deep bruised the area. Feel up to prep work tonight.

Saw this Tom crossing the road Sunday morning en route to get donuts for the kids. I thought about it...

chicken thighs on the grill pan with asparagus baked with EVOO and garlic, with a salad and homemade ranch.

Holy crap, that burger.
Dinner was pot roast, rice and gravy, and green beans. My favorite childhood meal. All mixed together in true childhood form.

Smoked chicken thighs, leftover potatoes au gratin and spaghetti squash tossed in olive oil, fresh basil and tomatoes. Angel's Landing pinot noir.

Reverse sear Prime rib eye from Costco & grilled asparagus wine is a 2012 Bodegas Mano a Mano Vino de la Tierra de Castilla Manon
Costco had prime ribeye on sale yesterday
Simply seasoned with crushed sea salt & fresh ground Malabar peppercorsn.....drizzled with a bit of avocado oil
Nice and thick
Getting hot on the BGE with cast iron grate
Grilling asparagus with salt, pepper & balsamic fig vinegar
LINK
grill temp was 700 degrees
75 seconds per side
LINK
In retrospect I probably cooked about 20 secinds too much per side.....even so, one of the best steaks I have ever had restaurant or otherwise.....Very Very impressed with the Costco prime!!

He was puffed up chasing a hen before I was able to snap a pic. My son was asking why he kept holding his breath
