Anyone have this gun? Beretta Nano.

Looking for input on this option as a concealed carry

IIRC, the reviews I read weren't good.

I have the full size and my wife has the compact. It (the nano) is the smaller PX4 Storm. The full size and compact (9mm) are sweet guns. They eat what ever ammo you run through them without hesitation. Get ready for the glock folks to come at you.

I have one and I like it. As mentioned in earlier post, I have shot several brands of ammo through it and never had a problem. It is definitely too small for my hands to shoot very accurately but it fits in the front pocket of most of my pants/shorts and easily in the back pocket. It is a fun shooting little gun.

it is good sized and reliable for an EDC, but I find it top heavy while shooting, IMO. If you are looking for something similar take a look at the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield.

I bought this for my wife. Small hands, and she's a lefty. It doesn't have a slide release, safety, etc and is just a simple, sub compact from a very good manufacturer. Downside is it's a bit wider than other options like the Shield in 9mm. Also, like all others, you really have to run it through the paces - this particular gun has to be held properly or it tends to stovepipe. After working with it, I'm very happy with it, and like all husbands tend to shoot the damn thing more than the ole missy does. I'm happy with it, but I'm still a Shield guy.

I have one, and love it. I shoot it much more accurately than the Shield or the XDS, and MUCH better than the Glock 43 .
When new, they will stovepipe 115 grain cheap ammo. Run a box of 124 or 147 grain through the gun - problem solved. I'm at least a thousand rounds past the few stovepipes I had.

The PX4 is a completely different model from Beretta's PX series.

I don't like the extended magazine for the Nano, so I just ordered one of these Pearce extensions:

This.
This is my buddy's every day carry. He loves it. I'm not a fan of it myself, but its not a bad gun by any means.

I wouldn't buy this gun because it has an internal slide lock. That's pretty much a deal-breaker for me.
But a lot of people seem to enjoy it and I'm sure it carries well.

I will have to look into that. I would carry it everywhere if I put a third finger on the grip.
ETA: I would like it more if added an extra round or two.

I bought one for the GF last year. She likes it. I find it does hang up with cheap ammo.

Piece of shite. Don't get it

they're ok, but why buy that when you can get a Shield, CM9 or LC9s for the same price?

I'm a lefty, so for the LC9, the mag release and safety (not that I use one) wasn't going to work out. The Nano's mag release can be swapped to either side. I bought the Nano right before the XDS came out in 9mm, and probably would've bought that instead.

Please explain.
The lack of an external slide stop lever never really bothered me. The only time I use one is to lock the slide back for disassembly when cleaning. A slide stop is not supposed to be used as a slide release.

If you have a malfunction like a double feed, manually locking the slide back is necessary to get the gun back in the fight. Making the slide lock internal increases the amount of time it takes and depends on you being able to rip the magazine out of the gun while the top round in the magazine has pressure on it.
I'm not saying this malfunction would happen on a gun with a strong extractor, but it CAN happen. Mr. Murphy always shows up when he's least welcome.
