I haven't given Beasley much consideration since I thought it was a foregone conclusion that he would be picked before us. I guess I still like him. But I've cooled on him a lot.

ATL goes Kevin White, if available, to replace Roddy in a few years

This is fun, but one early miss and all these dominos fall differently. He did not have La'el Collins in Round 1. I take Collins or Maxx Williams over DGB.

I'd be fine with Beasley.

Don't want anything to do with DGB.

Wtf? No.

So you want to draft an average TE prospect to replace our All-Pro TE, with the pick we traded our All-Pro TE for?

Which is why trading up is folly. Need to not forfeit more players for one flawed one

The thing about Collins will be when does the reward outweigh the risk. If he slides into round 2 you have to jump on it. You would figure the Saints would have some good connections to find out the severity of the situation.

Agreed. Also in that mock Kendricks is still on the board. I hope in that scenario the Saints would go Kendricks and best WR available in the 2nd.

I'll Take !!!

Vic & DGB would do wonders for this team over 1 player like wiliams or fowler

If we don't snag a WR in the first round Id rather us not take one at all. Dorsett and Devin Smith just aren't going to be good NFL WRs. They only know 1 route and you can't just have speed in the NFL.

I hope we take Beasely or Dupree. Then come back with Kendricks or Collins with the second 1st round pick.

Then snag McKinney to play OLB in the second round or hell, get another MLB in Perryman.

If we got Perryman and Kendricks along with a top OLB this draft will be a success.

It's nice to think about. With DGB in our offense we would be nasty. Kid is going to be a stud if he doesn't act like an idiot off the field which is a coin toss

I would be thrilled if we could stay put and grab Beasley. But most mocks don't have that as a possibility. I'm in the camp of trading up for Williams or Fowler. They're the only 2 safe picks that could really impact our team.

Even if it costs both 1s, we still have an early 2 and two early 3s. Still can grab a MLB and quality WR plus an OL that will either start or provide good depth.

My dream would be to turn our first 5 picks into Williams, Ray and one of the MLBs. That would involve Ray falling deep into round 1. That would give us 3 positions of need vastly improved.

My backup dream is Williams or Fowler, then trade back into 1 for Kendricks.

The biggest wildcard is a lot of teams want to trade down but very few looking to go up outside of the QB race. It may not cost both 1s to jump up to 5 or 6 if Williams or Fowler is there. If that's the case you do it in a heartbeat. We also may be able to trade 31 to a team looking to grab Petty before day 2. He will be one of the hottest topics overnight if still available.

Bottom line is I don't trust someone great being there at 13.
