Are Trampolines Worth it?

Does the fun and luster wear off quickly for these, or is it a worthwhile investment. Do your kids play with them for years? I never saw the appeal, but so many people we know own one.

I used it a ton growing up and my nieces and nephews use it all the time.

I got a ton of use out of them as a kid. Probably until around 13 or so.
I imagine once i hit 8th grade i stopped jumping on them for the most part.

It varies, I'd say it goes up and down.

Do they even make real trampolines anymore?

be careful rewriting your homeowner's insurance after you get a tramp...

I saw a kid get paralyzed using one.

Theyre only fun if you pull them close enough to the house to jump off of the roof onto the trampoline and then into the pool.
Yes, your kids will try it when youre not home.

The luster wore off for me when I was in the second grade, and I was double bounced off the trampoline and broke my arm.

I have absolutely no idea how I didn't break any bones growing up.....
Your kids are going to do some ridiculous shite when you aren't looking.

In regards to usage, it is the best gift we have ever gotten our kids. They got it for Christmas 5-6 years ago and are still on it all the time. Kids are 12,11,7.

Me too. I used to see how many continuous front flips I could do in a row. It often ended with me flying off.

Don't forget they increase your homeowners insurance premium quite a bit too.

Not when you're being fed through a tube.
