he's fricking lucky this didnt happen in Texas
Luck has absolutely nothing to do with it. And if it had, he'd have gone to prison for 20 some odd years and eventually been executed. So what? Now he'll have an extra 30 years in prison. I'm sure he considers that a win.

Do you think most people on there would warn the perp first or just start shooting like a blood-thirsty psychopath?
You see. This is the point. If they start shooting at someone that is unlawfully in there home, "theyre a spawn of satan and a frickin blood-thirsty psychopath." This is the PC culture that has been conditioned in this country and it's sickening. Yes, the person defending his home against a person unlawfully in it is now the fricking bad guy and the POS is the "victim". I have been attacked constantly in this thread, and my outlook may be harsh, but at least Im not a pussy. And to your other question, I know two for sure that have killed other people but that is completely irrelevant to the point at hand.

I'm pretty sure Hernandez can hold his own in jail.

Of course luck has everything to do with it. By an imaginary line drawn in the Earth, he gets to live and in another territory he would be killed for doing the exact same thing. And I dont give a rats arse about that. The only reason I responded was because you conveniently tacked on "sorry that you cant handle that" to your post. PEOPLE, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT HERNANDEZ IN NEARLY EVERY POST I HAVE MADE IN HERE. Im talking in general about bad people.

Maybe you should just stick to the Outdoor Board. You seem to be unable to handle differing opinions from your own.
This thread is about Hernandez, not hypothetical people.

Ok guy. Is it so hard to understand that tangent topics and comments can be discussed in a given thread. Surely, this isnt a difficult concept to grasp. You took a comment I made out of context, assumed I was talking about the exact thread topic, then stated your own opinion on that. Well done.

wow these guys have really Vagged this thread up
one thing I noticed about the jury, if you are an ethnic minority athlete and you choose to live in an affluent neighborhood then if you are tried for a crime the jury will most likely NOT be of your "peers" IYKWIM

Aaron Hernandez’s claim of innocence to Robert Kraft helped jurors decide to convict Hernandez of first-degree murder today. After Hernandez, the former Patriots tight end, was found guilty today of murdering Odin Lloyd, jurors told reporters that the testimony of Kraft, the Patriots’ owner, was compelling. Kraft testified under oath that he spoke with Hernandez when reports first surfaced of Lloyd’s death, and that Hernandez had given Kraft an assurance that he was not involved. Hernandez claimed to Kraft that he had been inside a club at the time that Lloyd was killed, which sounds like a good alibi — except that it raised questions in the minds of jurors as to how, exactly, Hernandez could have known what time Lloyd was killed. “One part, for me, was Aaron’s alleged statement that . . . he was at a club at that time,” one juror said. “We still don’t know the exact time of Odin’s murder, specifically. So I don’t know how Aaron would have had that information two years ago. Even today, after medical examiners’ review, we still don’t have that information.” Jurors believe that Hernandez knew what time Lloyd was killed because Hernandez was the one who killed him. Hernandez proclaiming his innocence to Kraft helped the jurors reach that conclusion.

Holy shite. Is that legit?

Yeah. From a jurors perspective
It's a PFT article

Yeah, I meant if the source was legit.
Damn, I didn't think Kraft's testimony was going to be worth a shite because the prosecutor was laying such a stupid predicate. I figured kraft was part of a dog and pony show and his testimony was actually the nail in the coffin.
