Mortal Kombat X will give us the worst DLC ever created

"Easy Fatalities" allow players to trigger a signature Mortal Kombat finishing move at the end of a fight with the tap of two buttons. They are for sale, though not as a persistent option that unlocks after purchase. Rather "Easy Fatalities" must be purchased in five- or 30-use packages. Five Easy Fatalities cost $0.99, while 30 Easy Fatalities cost $4.99. That's right: once you've used your bundle of Easy Fatalities, you'll need to purchase another bundle.

I prefer my dlc to be of the horse armor variety

Well that's interesting. Still from all of the gameplay I've watched on Twitch, the game looks solid.

How difficult really are the standard fatality combonations?
left, left-down, down, right-down, right, a, b, a?
frick, people are lazy.

I agree. That's the reason Dark Souls was so wildly popular. It was difficult and didny cater to lazy gamers

There was a code in MK3 on the options screen to turn on one-button fatalities

I'm a lazy gamer (laziness is why we play games), but that looks dumb.

Yes, but said code didn't cost $5 and give you just 30 chances to do the one button fatality before having to purchase more.
I hope this is extremely unpopular b/c it's a very worrisome move that would be horrible if it became a trend.
What else would companies try to nickle and dime us with on shite that used to be simply part of the game? Would they charge us for the privilege of using things like friendships, babalities, and whatever else that's already on the MK disk as well?

A lot of games will lower drop rates or frequency of things happening from what is normal to try to increase purchasing them. This I do have a problem with.

but the free market and supply/demand are kinda hard to stop

Right. The move to digital purchasing will only bring out more of this type of stuff. It sucks but the business part of me understands and isng totally upset. As long as people are buying, I'd probably do the same thing. I mean, who doesn't want more money?
