Lmao...
Great episode... the bro app and Jared had me
No way Richard takes the offer from Gavin.
I bet the brain rape crew comes back at some point in the story...they had taken a pic of the middle out bored .
Also anytime Erlich is on screen is money

The "bro" things was great.
I don't know why, but watching the creidts roll over as Richard and Gavin sit there with the mariachi band was hilarious to me. Couldn't stop laughing as Richard started to getting some salsa.

Ross Hanneman is a great edition
His channeling of Sean Parker and Mark Cuban has already gotten off to a fast start
The satire of IRL Silicon Valley is fantastic, identify a threat, mire them in lawsuits and buy them out is brilliant
Can't wait to see Hooli VP Big Head

His dismissive treatment of Erich was great

"I want to know what kind of fricked up childhood this guy had!"
also
"I've got three nannies suing me right now, one of them for no reason!"

I got sick and binged watched this show Saturday. What a fun show. I love ensemble shows where the cast has great chemistry. This is definitely one of them.
And i get the gripes people have with "If this were real life..." I dont think thats the point, though. This isn't Mark Cuban selling a sports score tracker. This algorithm is Facebook big. Think about that, a 128gb movie compressed to 25gb? Thats insane.
IRL, if these guys could develop it and hit the market with it, every digital media company in the world would want access to this tech. That 20gb iPod that holds 10,000 songs can now hold 100,000. He would be stupid to sell to Hooli, because he can establish his company and license to others after for 10x what he'd get upfront. And every company from Google to server farms would pay it.

Teaming up with this Dan Bilzerian-esque dude was a massive, massive mistake.
I know we are going to have a season of total strife and frickups before they get to win in the very end, but honestly I would prefer to see the guys win a little bit.

They dont seem to understand how to make pied piper into a product or a business which is perplexing to me. It is pretty simple:
License it to Apple. Since you cant expand the memory on Apple products this would be worth a crap load to Apple users.
Build a $9.99 app that can be loaded on iphones, ipads, etc from iTunes that overlaps the memory on the device and compresses everything saved to it.
