I argue that The Crow best represents the 1990s in film and music

Honestly, I think The Crow is a near perfect movie that best represents the mood, style, and music of the 1990s.
It was a perfect movie released at the perfect time.
Watch the following youtube clip of The Cure's "Burn", the most famous song from The Crow soundtrack. It's like watching the entire movie in 6 minutes. I may rewatch The Crow tonight just for nostalgia purposes.

I think it was a little ahead of it's time in style. Blade, The Matrix, and others had to take inspiration from that movie.

The movie was just average. The fact that anytime someone mentions this movie they have to talk about the soundtrack proves the movie itself isn't special.

The Crow is awesome and very underrated.

If not for the Crow, we wouldn't have gotten the later version of Sting in WCW.

I absolutely adore this movie. Need to see it again soon. Need to listen to the movie soundtrack as well.

Nine Inch Nail's cover of Dead Souls from that soundtrack is top 5 in the GOAT covers.
