People get worried about the range, but in fact, this could take me from my driveway to Phoenix West II in Ernge Beach AL with 32 miles to spare.
I wish it was more affordable...

The model III in combination with the economies of scale generated by the gigafactory is going to make for a much more affordable product.

I have two. Stopped driving one after a couple weeks and back in the f250. I make the wife drive hers instead of putting miles on the Benz. She hates it
Could you elaborate on this?

I'm buying the s next year but I do not think Texas has credits for it. I wish they did.
Is it based on state of residence or state of purchase?

I believe it's wherever you reside/file

Wait for the upgraded batteries.

If you want to ensure the death of your children from being rear ended, yeah, it's a nice option.
they are the "safest seats in the car" according to Elon Musk.
they add in an extra frame and everything for those seats.
Also the Model S has recorded some of, if not the best ever crash test results.

It is rated as the safest automobile ever made. ETA: It's also the highest rated overall automobile in at least one ratings publication.
Elon has said that some of this safety is a function of extra "crumple space" due to lack of front engine.

Just to hit on this again: the rear facing seats attach to a second (separate) frame that augments the standard bumper for increased safety.

Yes. A slightly different slant...

I also like the third row seat option.
No way would I put anyone I like, let alone love in that third row seat

Just to be clear, is it a credit or a deduction?
Posted on 4/2/15 at 6:51 pm to Napoleon
I think you will have to pay federal income tax on the $13k state credit the following year. Be cognizant of that.

So you're trying to suggest that if you get plowed into from behind while riding in that rear facing seat, you're safer than you would be riding in the normal back seat, of say a suburban?
How do you prevent a car hitting you from behind from rolling up on top of you?

I'm not suggesting anything. I just copied and pasted from the Tesla website.
And I'm not an automobile engineer, so I'll avoid answering any collision physics questions
