Late 90s and early 2000s I remember hearing a lot of techno and trance. Then you'd hear a popular pop or rap song remixed with a techno beat. Ecstasy pills(not fricking Molly) were everywhere. Lol

Mixed Nuts singing "Sweet Home Louisiana" at Mellow Mushroom always brought down the house.

1982-1986: at the War Eagle Supper Club sets usually included at least one of "red, red wine", "G-L-O-R-I-A," other 60's, 70's stuff.
I remember one band was Telluride. Too drunk then to really remember, but they covered mostly 60's and 70's rock.

I had it great... The grundge into modern Rock/Alt.
In DFW - That meant Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Tripping Daisy and Fort Worth's very own Toadies.
There were plenty that were country out the arse as to be expected in TX... but most were the above.
ETA:
It tuned to Tecnno the year I graduated... Crystal Method, Voodoo & Serrano, etc...

The early 2000s must have been a really weird time to be in college.
Cellphones and the internet starting to become mainstream changed a lot.
It was a fun time. I'm sure every genration will say the same though

The Devils Backbone Tavern.
It was one of those bars where there may have been 20 people in the place with, say about 17 teeth.
