Someone used the Tigers as an example to prove the new baseballs work.
I guess ESPN hates LSU still and don't ask cause I have no clue how I found this lol

curious why they list stolen base and bunt stats and such?

Bunts are being used as an indicator because increased hitting production decreases the need to bunt to move runners over. Stolen bases don't really seem to be a useful stat. You could argue that coaches are being more aggressive on the base paths because runners on base are more common with the new ball.
But both would be more of a psychological response to the new balls and increased offensive numbers, than an actual physical result of the new balls.

I think LSU is a great team to use as a batting comparison point since we return most of our lineup.
I would have used someone else for pitching though. We may be the worst team to use.

The pitching comparison isn't very accurate. It is hard to compare pitching stats with a team that has Nola. I know that wasn't the point of the article, but it wAs just an observation.

All those pitching stats should have an * next to them that says "No Nola" at the bottom

numbers are flawed. didn't take into consideration the javi factor

It's a veteran lineup too.
With weather warming up and the gulf breezes starting to kick in I expect to see more power

I cherish the triples per game stat
