I've started to think porn may be effecting my attraction to normal women and being turned on by them. I know this isn't a new topic on here... so what's been your experience if you quit.... good or bad?

There's some yellow and red stuff in your brain, I think some of it needs to come out.

Well, porn obviously affects your ability to differentiate between affect/effect...

Whatever works for you

It's all about knowing yourself. Some folks need to cut out porn for a variety of reasons. Others can view it regularly without any adverse side effects. All there really is to it.

The only problem is when folks on one side of the scale get it in their heads that since it works a particular way with them regarding porn, it must be the same for everyone. Not saying that's what you're doing at all, btw, NATidefan, but that's just how it seems these types of threads always go.

Why not only watch porn with ugly fatasses? Then, when you land a irl 6 you see her as a nine.

Plenty of nasty porn actresses out there

pron has an adverse effect on many people....my BIL is about to lose his marriage due to pron...im not going to sit here and preach, cause I have a plank in my own eye with this one but I don't currently use it...and my life is better for it...the new girl might be someone you want to be with for a long time...and if that is the case, I think you are wise to let go of this temporary "fix" in order to do something real...pron is not real...which is why it is so destructive...stop looking at it all together...find something to take its place, like work in the yard or something else that's physical whenever you get the urge...do you work out?...working out and lifting naturally produces testosterone....don't watch porn and yank it...build up your testy levels and then take it out on this new girl...she will thank you...and you get your rocks off in a more healthy and meaningful way than watching some skinny cocaine addicted blonde get railed by the BBC....

No experience with quitting entirely. But this year I've reached 7-day and 10-day milestones (separately). That's a start.

A serious answer for you.

Quit yanking your dick to porn. The sensitivity will come back to it.Then sex with new girl will be all you need.

If a wonderful pussy doesn't get you off better than your hand then there's a problem.

Good luck.Don't give up.

At least you are admitting the real problem and not just going on some bullshite "no fapping" crusade that is supposed to bring enlightenment and clarity to your life.

Porn addiction is real folks. You're parents failed you but you can change it.
