There is no doubt
He may not win it because people are dumb....but he is undoubtedly the most valuable player to his team this year

Pretty hard. Curry, Harden, and Westbrook all deserve it..

Take Harden from the Rockets this year and they aren't a playoff team. With Westbrook the Thunder probably aren't a playoff team.

A1) Curry A2) Westbrook

Nah man.. Let people keep drooling over 50 from Hardne when almost half came from the foul line.

Shoots 43% from the field and leads the NBA in turnovers per game with 4.3....

Honestly....if you are going to take team record into consideration, it has to be curry.
If your are going to say "which team would have won less games if this dude wasnt here?" Its westbrook.

leads the NBA in turnovers per game with 4.3....

Team records when scoring 30+ points
James Harden: 25-4
Russell Westbrook: 15-7
James Harden's great games seem to mean wins for Houston.

If the Thunder make the playoffs, I agree.

His assist:TO ratio is 1.95, 53rd in the NBA. Currys is 2.6 and 26th in the NBA.
And let's not act like the only reason he's turnig the ball over a lot is because of his usage rate this year. He's consistently been near the top of the NBA in turnovers. And there's nothing misleading by saying he leads the league in turnovers...

GS: 55 wins, Curry's 12.6 WS = 42.4 Wins; 22.9% of the total wins
HOU: 46 wins, Harden's 13.7 WS = 32.3 Wins; 29.8% of the total wins
OKC: 39 wins, Westbrook's 8.7 WS = 30.3 Wins; 22.3% of the total wins
NOP: 37 wins, Davis' 11.6 WS = 25.4 Wins; 31.4% of the total wins
Adjusted for missed games:
Harden and Curry missed 2-3 games = losses, so no adjustments
OKC: 34 wins, Westbrook's 8.7 WS = 25.3 Wins; Contributed to 25.6% of the wins he's played in
NOP: 29 wins (taking away 6 he missed, 2 he left early 7mins and 9mins played); 11.6 WS = 17.4 Wins; Contributed to 40% of the wins he's played in

And you need to add in the fact that Westbrook missed 15 games, so he didn't play in some of those wins.
