Greetings to all from your 2013 Big Bass Champion, yours truly. I was ousted last year but I forgot who caught her.I think it was someone from the Monroe area.

The rules are simple.

The first poster to post a 7 lbs. or better bass wins the title.

No high fence ponds. Must be caught on public water starting today going forward. No old pics.

Must post pic with at least 1 of the following criteria being met...

A) 2 forms of government issued ID
B) A piece of paper with your TD handle/screen name
C) Your foot visibly included in the picture

All pictures are subject to harsh scrutiny, and without a scale a determination by the committee of one (me) to determine if the fish actually crosses the 7 lbs threshold may be applicable. Don't post a pic of a 3 pounder held way out towards the camera basically.

Good luck, good fishing and let the games begin.

Wait a second Clyde. What about letting that stretch out for a while to the end of July on biggest Summer bass or something, then have a Fall biggest bass? ?

I'll go ahead an claim this title.

The picture below has the foot you requested in C, but I am unable to comply with A as I am a fish and do not have government paperwork. B is racist as I am a fish and unable to write anything. Please feel free to send my prize.

Damn it. I turned down a trip with my buddy on Clearlake this weekend. We routinely catch 6 to 8 lbers on that lake.

What exactly does winning the title include?

Bass for Bucks yesterday on Vernon. 21 pounds took first, and big bass was somewhere between 7-8. Caught a couple of overs, which used to be 17 inches, but couldn't support them with anything worth a crap. Missed a couple that might of put us in the money. Weighed 5, over 8lbs. I've never fished so hard in crappy weather and caught so few. Did win a 40 dollar gift cert. from wally, door prize. Got my trny. fee back. 39 boats with plenty of free beer and food along with some good hearted ribbing and fellowship.
