First true road test for our Tigers this year. 2 young freshman pitchers going on the road in the SEC to a well attended stadium. I don't know much about Arkansas this year, other than they still have some of the usual suspects in Tyler Spoon and on the mound. Can we get 2 out of 3?

I see us taking at the very least 2/3, but could see us taking all 3. This is a pretty weak Arkansas team so far and they will be playing 5 games in a row this week.

Arkansas always plays LSU tough in any sport no matter their record and I doubt this weekend will be any different.

I mean, just looking at their scedule, they dropped 2 in-a-row to Gonzaga (who came off victories @ Tulane 2-of-3) @ home last week. To me, that says a bit about the Hog's relief pitching. All this before getting swept by an overrated Vandy team.

Road SWEEP!

Arkansas is down this year. Much like state and piss are down as well. It's an odd year it seems like. It'll be a very business like approach this season. We are certainly a favorite to win the conference. Not having to play florida or vandy, and having aTm at home is very favorable.

We certainly can win all 3 this weekend buch much like this past weekend I wouldn't be expecting it. It's baseball. Winning 2 of 3 in the SEC with the occasional sweep against inferior opponents is always the goal.

Hard to tell. They fought vandy in 2 of their 3 games. I think we should expect 2 of 3.

I'd be happy with taking 2 of 3 on the road, and I think that should be the expectation. A sweep is a great possibility too, but as we saw with Ole Miss, it's hard to sweep in the SEC, even if you're the better team. Would love for it to happen though.

McKinney and Killian are good arms.

This Arkansas team is drastically different than the typical Van Horn teams with big bodied athletes. They've given up the most stolen bases in the SEC to date so LSU will need to be aggressive on the base paths and get the starters out early.

I live in the area and they have a couple of decent pitchers, especially Killian. I try to listen to the games when I can and it seems they have a lot of trouble putting together timely hitting. They have stranded a lot of runners this year. The bullpen has also been suspect up to this point of the season. I think if we can get into their bullpen, that will bode well for our chances in Fayetteville.

2 of 3.

CPM will outcoach himself in one game, otherwise a SWEEP.

I think Van Horn is solid coach.

But, Arky's team ERA is last in the league at 4.30. Yikes.

I would be disappointed if we take less than 2 out of 3.
