Make some herb butter and maybe squirt some lemon in it

I don't typically but have had dishes where they were served with a white wine or lemon butter sauce.

Drawn butter like lobster. My father sautéed scallops in butter as an appetizer once a week and ate them with toothpicks. He also bought Gallo wine by the jug and drank it from an Armor Dried Beef jar.
He was a freak.

parsley, oregano, and thyme with some garlic too.

lemon butter alone would be okay. They don't need a heavy sauce. You could also saute some finely chopped shallots and chives in that.
A lemon buerre blanc with some capers would be nice, as well.

Went with real butter, lemon and garlic pepper. Tis delicious

I liked to sear them in a combo of blackened seasoning and butter, so once cooked, no.

Good enough. Served over pasta or with a toothpick? Bay or sea scallops?
