Just go no contact OP. You shouldn't be contemplating a 2nd chance. People make mistakes, but if it was an ongoing thing then I would not be considering reconciliation. Especially after only a year. As am aside... It seems like not a single person here has cheated??
I've been on both sides. As the cheater and the cheated. I cheated because there was some serious neglect going on but i was too scared to end it because i was afraid of being alone. About as honest of an answer as I can give to the why.
Do I regret it? Yes and no. i regret causing someone I once loved a lot of pain, but it also gave me the courage to walk away (fricked up I know)

Fyi Thought I had my future wife, obviously she fooled the hell out of me. Now I'm just enjoying the little I have left of college before the real world hits. Believe me if one comes around that's worth keeping, I'll go from there.
