If I hate what the kkk stands for, why on God's green earth would I practice the same hateful practices the live by? I do not hate white people. Is this where I state I have white friends who are republicans. I know for a fact that they are not racist, but our friendship is not in jeopardy because who the support politically. We have debates all the time and we never once accused on another of being racist.

But they are such a minutia of the whole. So that mentality is a tad off center. You are likely Democrat because of your demographics.
I'm an Independent voter because I like to chose the best candidate. My parents are Republican, white-middle class. I play the fence :)
It's far worse, in my opinion, for blacks to be Democrat only because Obama was Democrat. Voting simply for color. Actually, that's racist. I wasn't bussed by the loads to register to vote on issues I had absolutely zero knowledge of, except the man I would vote for was black. If you did that, you contributed to the great lie and helped in making an abortion of the voting process people died to obtain.
I'm not sure of LSUPRIDES statistics, but he is correct that it (KKK) is a very-very small sample of the population, much less a voting party. I would think there were more Democratic Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, and Moores but I certainly don't have statistics - and it sure wouldn't keep me from voting/being Democrat. That's just plain silly.
