Disappointed it doesn't seem like the bands will be interchangeable

Yeah, you order the band and the watch together.

I was hoping they'd be interchangeable because I think there would be a huge secondary market for others to create bands

Did they say you couldn't change out the bands?

It kinda looks like the Watch will be, but maybe not the sport. Christy Turlington talked about having multiple bands, so I think at least one of them will be able to interchange.

Well...I'd want the sport and if I couldn't change from a sport band to a somewhat nicer band of being able to wear it for work and whatnot would be really nice.

I'm thinking the Sport with a black band. $399 for the larger one.

That black steel sure was eye catching, but damn paying $500+ for a watch. I guess I'll have to stick to the Sport.

Looking at some of the pics, I think the sport will be interchangable as well. They both have the same band connection.

Various websites are reporting the bands are interchangable as well. It looks like the gold one won't have the same type of bands though, but no one is gonna buy that shite except for those crazy rich Arabs.

That would make sense...hopefully it's doable. The connectors DO look the same on the sport and regular watch. So hopefully that can be done. I think we'll see 3rd party watch bands in no time.

If I was going to purchase an apple watch myself, I would probably spend somewhere around $650... thank goodness my job will just buy me one. For personal use I'll stick with my Pebble Steel.

I'm not a fan of companies making it easier to use credit cards cards. more people should use cash imo
