Alright, whatever works best for the board
Twas just a suggestion, but voting only for one day seems rushed IMO (despite solid participation in here).

rough draft for the Renaissance Bracket.
Looks pretty much right. I can see where the upsets will be too. 5/12 and 6/11 should be switched but they'll be same match-up.

as excited as I am for the next bracket, this one is still reeling in votes. And I'm sure there are plenty of posters at work who haven't seen the thread yet. I'd just keep an eye on it, and when the voting starts becoming sporadic, maybe make an announcement in the thread title that voting will be closing soon.

I think those will be tight but I've always gotten the feeling Hercules and Aladdin were staples of the Disney collection, which is why I made them higher seeds

TS and TS2 will be in different brackets
I almost feel like the TS trilogy should've been one entry. It would've freed up two spaces for other movies, and it just does such a great job of continuing a singular, linear story. But I can also see why splitting them up makes sense too (though maybe the first two should be paired) as they were basically in a different time period than 3, and 3 is so much more of a deeper movie.
I'm interested to see how the final results play out, especially the Rat/Frozen matchup.

We can end the voting for this one when Ratatouille overtakes Frozen

And you could always just take their IMDb (or RT) rankings, and order them that way to generate seeds as well.
Ultimately, seeding won't matter too much though I don't think.

Is Rescuers that good? That it could stand up to TS1? I've never seen Rescuers and my fiancé is a Disney-phile, we can't go three days without watching a Disney movie. I've seen just about every other movie that's been mentioned, so that's why I assumed it should be a low seed

It is for me. Some of the voting here will have nothing to do with the quality of the movie but moreso the nostalgia associated with it.
Rescuers is one of instances. Plus if it is seeded 15 like Ratatouille then yeah id be pissed with the matchup

Can we get a totals update in Op?

Up vs Monsters was definitely the most difficult for me

Updated Renaissance bracket when considering IMDB in addition to other factors. IMDB rankings alone would produce some weird matchups, and I don't think the imdb rankings give enough credit to some movies. I did adjust some matchups though
Renaissance:
1. Lion King - 8.5
16. Oliver & Company - 6.7
8. Mulan - 7.5
9. Tarzan - 7.2
5. Hercules - 7.2
12. Emperors New Groove - 7.3
4. Aladdin - 8.0
13. Fantasia 2000 - 7.3
6. Little Mermaid - 7.6
11. Lilo & Stitch - 7.1
3. Beauty and the Beast - 8.1
14. Hunchback of Notre Dame - 6.9
7. Toy Story 2 - 7.9
10. Pocahontas - 6.6
2. Toy Story 1 - 8.3
15. Rescuers Down Under - 6.9

Might as well put Lion King vs. TS1 in the final although Beauty could take out TS1

Not necessarily. Beauty and the Beast has a pretty strong chance.
