You're looking for another chance to call the coach stupid, and you're just wrong here.
You're not trying to manufacture more offensive possessions with a lead, under 30 seconds.
Complain about the lack of 2 for 1s during the game, fine. Nobody goes for one there, though.

Seriously dude? You don't understand the concept of a 2 for 1? Of course that COULD happen. Like all 2 for 1 opportunities, its contingent on the absence of an offensive rebound. But the notion that you stop playing efficient basketball because you have a lead in the 4th quarter is absurd.
2 for 1 usually leads to inefficient offensive possession if you need to shoot the ball in less than 5 seconds.
Add onto the fact you're nursing a 1pt lead, its a higher % to get into a correct set and then score than defend.
you're ridiculous

Why not exactly? If a 2 for 1 is smart at the end of the 1st half, why wouldn't it be smart here?

I don't believe you. But whether coaches do it or not has not bearing on its logical merit. They also sit rested players with foul trouble.

So you don't subscribe to the concept of there being value in a 2 for 1? Obviously it will be less efficient. That's the case at the end of every quarter of basketball. You are afforded the luxury of being less efficient because you have more possessions. In fact, you can be half as efficient.

What does that even mean? A higher percentage than what? You are defending either way.

Your forgetting about using the clock as another defender for us. This isn't the end of every other quarter, its the end of the game.
When we have a 1 point lead would you rather the opposing team be able to have 24 seconds to get the ball up the court, get into their offense, and put up a shot with around 8 seconds left and have the chance to rebound that shot and get one last quick look
or would you rather have us take as much time off the clock so the opposite team has only a portion of the shot clock to get the ball up and score and more than likely it will take more time and there will be a less of a chance for an offensive rebound because there will be no time to get the second shot off
