Golf news should stay on the MSB.
If you want to discuss the hobby of golf, use the OT...but I would not suggest you annoyingly flood it with golf topics...hope this clears it up for everyone.

I've felt that we needed a definitive post on where each type of post belongs.
I agree with your assessment and figured that was the the proper division but never care enough to speak up or suggest it.

thank you, as this is what I've been saying all along. Discussion pertaining to Tiger Woods, current professional tournaments, etc belong on the MSB. Posting your own individual scores, discussing new equipment, courses, techniques, etc obviously belongs on the OT. Same with any other sport (ie: pick-up bball games go on the OT). Thanks Chicken. This is much better than yall anchoring with little to no explanation other than them being off topic. Then on topic threads got anchored. Hope this clears it up and will lead to less anchored without reason topics.

Not on the OT. That's for sure. Already had a ton of people coming in the separate threads this past week with the sole intent of bashing the game. We had some really good threads when they let us post on the MSB.
But oh well, plenty of other places to discuss the game if this goes awry. Discussion of golf has turned this place upside down. People get very upset about it. That will be amplified on the OT.
