Everyone overlooks his TOs issue, even on here. People are too focused on Grays turnovers and mistakes to realize that Mickey almsot averages the same amount of turnovers per game
I'm not saying Mickey isn't sloppy with the ball at times. The entire team is, in general.

I think a lot of fans are tired of bitching about the same mistakes from this team. I'm glad they won but this victory didn't spark any vote of confidence that this is a tourney worthy team.

Takeaways from this game:
1) Effort was there.
2) The starting lineup should continue.
3) Martin needs to continue to play aggressive.
4) Need to work on FTs - of course - but getting to line 40? times = awesome.
5) Inbounding was much improved.
6) Need to pass crisper, still lazy with the ball at times.
LSU needed this win.

Agreed Martin is our best player. And I never said Gray was
But PGs handle the ball a lot so they typically have more TOs than the rest of the other players.
Mickey is a PF who gets the ball within 15ft of the rim majority of the time and rarely has to take more than 2or3 dribbles. And still averages 3.4 TOs per game. Hes still 1 of our top 2 players, no doubt, but that doesn't mean we can ignore how careless he is with the ball at times. Most of his TOs are just him keeping the ball low and someone knocks it out or he freaks out when someone comes to double or trap him.

Easily Mickey is our best player. He still has a lot to work on though, just saying.
Martin did have a good game tonight, especially 2nd half. If he can play strong and aggressive and not soft, he's a mismatch for almost every team.
