Who's more important to the Patriots: Brady or Belichick?

tried to make this as short as possible, while still explaining my stance.
Folks talk about how Brady is just a product of Belichick, but I think it's quite the opposite.
Let's not forget that Belichick went 36-44 at Cleveland and was fired. He lead them to ONE playoff game from 1991-1995. He went 5-11 in his final season even after starting 3-1.
When he got to New England, he had 1 losing season in 2000. This is still his only losing season as the HC for New England. This is also the only year in which Brady didn't start at QB. This was the year he was drafted.
The very next year the Patriots went 11-5 and won the Super Bowl. I think we all know the Brady story from this year when Bledsoe went down in the second game of the regular season. But let's not forget that Bledsoe lost the opening game to a bad Cincinnati team who eventually finished 6-10. Bledsoe goes down in game 2 vs the Jets, in comes Brady. The rest of 2001 is history and the Brady era begins.
So what I see is that as soon as Brady took over the starting QB job, the Patriots had a complete and utter turnaround from a 5-11 year to 11-5 and winning a Super Bowl.
So, let's discuss.

Let's not
Let's just say they're both all time greats and be done with it

That's because it's Cleveland. Browns are doomed.

they're a chemical compound
we don't know which element is more important, we just know that together, they're one bad arse chemical.

I agree. But don't forget about 2000...the turnaround when brady took over is undeniable IMO

Belichick wasn't so hot with Bledsoe...who was a damn good QB IMO.

honestly, I implore you to watch the football life documentary on belichick's browns
he was also the defensive coordinator for the giants for 2 championships and the coordinator for the patriots when they went to the superbowl in NOLA in 96.

Belichick is below .500 in NE without Brady starting, so...

Yup. They did win 11 games with Cassell and get him a big contract. Worth mentioning.

Belichick
A QB can't coach the whole team.
This is a dumb question.

Pats went 11-5 without Brady in 2008

I never said Brady coached the patriots. I asked who is more important. I also have facts within the OP that show the turnaround the Patriots had as soon as Brady took over.
