Goodness. Rockets catching some bad breaks this year, no pun intended.

At what point are the Spurs going to run off like 8 or 9 in a row? 10 out of 12, 15 out of 20?
Gonna have to be soon after the All-Star break. They're running out of season.
If they have anything for this season, we'll see it during/after the Rodeo Road Trip. Been underwhelming so far.

Royce Young:

Because the Thunder lost to the Knicks on Wednesday and because of that kind of stupidity, created the feeling of a must-win environment. Watch how they started the game, with the intensity and energy. They felt it too. They wanted to atone for Wednesday.

His site has apparently crashed

DJ Augustin is incredible. This is two seasons in a row, he hasn't played that well until being thrust into the starting rotation, and then he's started to play like an animal.

They are 4.5 games out of second place and are finally all healthy. January was a good month, tonight was just a bad night against a talented, well-coached team (the Spurs have already beaten the Clippers twice this season). I'm not worried

Nice I watched some of that game in between the Spurs game. Can't stand the Thunder broadcasters/fans here so I was rooting for Memphis

I don't care if Howard sits until a week before the playoffs. I just want him to be healthy. When he is out there playing in pain, he is not a useful player for us. If we can get him healthy for a playoff run, that's what we need to aim for.

Just let us be healthy. I care about that moreso than seeding. If we're healthy, we can execute against anyone, with or without homecourt. Might not win, but especially in today's NBA and this particular conference, HCA really matters little to a veteran team like the Spurs.
Interested to see how the RRT plays out. It has long been the fulcrum of our season.

Y'all drop one game and the sky is falling, but y'all have been really fricking good this month.
I am ecstatic the Grizz got the Spurs monkey off their back while y'all were stuggling.

I'm almost hoping not to have home court as a Rockets fan. We have a horrible playoff record with home court in the first round. We always seem to drop one of the first two. I'd rather play spoiler in those first two games. The Rockets also have about the same record home and away this year.
I heard the NBA is at a record low pace of 53% win percentage at home.

The Nuggets being atrocious is effecting that a bit

Yeah I read an article about that the other day, but I can't remember the link. Basically, HCA is a thing of the past in pro football/basketball. The better teams just win for the most part.

That's most unusual. Surprised to read that.

There's something to this. When you have HCA, there is immense pressure psychologically to win right off the bat. Dropping one of those home games (especially game 1) can mess with teams and get them to tighten up.

Look, let a brotha melt. I don't usually do it

More than just us struggling. Y'all are legit.
Per par, might I add

Not really. They are 12-13 at home, much better than their road record.

I'm really having a hard time coming to terms with the Thunder throwing away their best opportunity to win the title with the league being so wide open, the Spurs finally being old, and the Heat trio being no more.

I still refuse to believe the spurs are done. They'll make the playoffs and I wouldn't want to face them then.
The thunder on the other hand. Amazed they aren't in playoff position yet. Though I'm also very surprised at what the suns are doing right now
