I need some of that.

B - the Hop Venom situation has improved since we talked last fall.

The quality control has improved as they get used to their "new" used equipment, and also the amount that is available is much greater, so growler fills are no longer a problem. When they had QC problems, I think they were releasing much less of it while they played around with the equipment. Now they seem to be cranking it out.

Note: Boneyard started using equipment salvaged from other breweries throwaways (hence the name - they got their equipment from the brewery boneyard). They recently expanded, and rather than buy new equipment, they expanded by buying Sweetwaters old equipment. They felt that would help them stay true to their heritage... Thought y'all might enjoy knowing that Sweetwater's old equipment is being put to good use, and is brewing better beer than ever, I might add.

FBD is a Lagunitas Imperial Red Ale en route back to SF from Sacramento. Glad this survey report is out and the briefing is done! Works been cray but it's about to get much better.

Just had a taste test of Prairie Funky Gold Amarillo. This is the 2nd sour I've tried, and still can't figure how some of you are into that style. I like sour gummy worms and Jelly Bellys, but just can't get into it with beer.

I'm with you. Granted I've been dabbling in more sours and an slowly coming around, I still don't enjoy them at all. I'd much prefer a pale ale or even a jar of pickle juice.

Was that Farmhouse also more carbonated than even usual for its style?

Someone posted a pic of Envie all foamed up last night, and I've had issues recently with Canebrake.
