I lied. LBD is a homebrewed Simcoe pale ale. Still drinking nicely.

Had more bad than good with them. Mostly QC issues with them like Parish. Especially on their IPAs

My favorite dive bar in Houston now has craft beer(in cans), a yelp rating, and a credit card machine. It just doesn't feel right. They still have no windows, no signs, and bathrooms on par with an African village...so it has that going for it.

Gentrification of dive bars is a sad state of affairs. Luckily, my favorites haven't given in. Oddly enough, one of them has had saison DuPont in 16 oz bottles for as long as I can remember......12 years or so. They do charge $15 for that bottle so I've never gotten it. It's a bar that has a lot of county judges and local tv media that roll in so I suspect one of them asked for it and is willing to pay for it.

SBD - Abita Wrought Iron (kegged 1/21)

Tastes different than the first batch. Has a hint of muscadine's, maybe a wild taste. Not sure, one of the homebrewers might be able to nail it down.
