Lower calories and higher in protein than regular milk.

I wish it had more protein like regular milk. I don't mind the taste but it has a lot more vitamins and minerals

Great if you are lactose intolerant as well.

But yeah, like jmcs said...less calories, less fattening.

It's probably good for lactose intolerant people too.

It's lactose free for those that need it.

It doesn't have to be kept cold and last a lot longer than regular milk.

It's really good in shakes.

And it doesn't have any cholesterol, saturated fat or sodium, while skim milk does have at least 5 mg of cholesterol and 130mg of sodium.

It contains no lactose or cholesterol. It also is very creamy with a nutty taste. If it wasn't so expensive I'd drink it more often. A lot of people who are lactose intolerant buy it regularly.

Also tastes pretty good. Definitely not like normal milk, kind of like a sweeter skim milk. Pretty good stuff overall.

That's what we use in our house. Everyone is lactose intolerant to one degree or another.

No I just checked myself. Regular milk DOES have more protein.

Yeah, I think a cup of unsweetened almond milk is only like 40 calories. I'll use it sometimes, but I'm certainly not one of those folks that enjoy it more than cow milk.

Don't know why I thought that.

I'm mostly concerned about calories and fat.

cow's milk has eight grams of protein per serving; almond milk has only one gram per serving.

It's also big in low-carb circles.

Personally, I think it tastes like water (nb4Cosmo).
