San Francisco.

What a shithole. Aggressive homeless people everywhere.

shite nightlife where no one gives a shite what they look like at all. I have never seen so many people try so hard to look shitty so they can show the world how much they don't care.

Also, it's about as expensive as NYC, which is mind-boggling.

The BART is so nasty I feel like I need to wear a condom just to avoid sitting down and contracting an STD on cushion contact.

Did I mention the nightlife is shite and the people are ugly?

I'd go with Austin.

For that matter, I nominate the whole state of Texas.

San Francisco rocks. Sorry there wasn't a Chili's on every corner for you to take shelter from the scary homeless people

San Francisco.

You must be kidding. Walking trails in the Presidio, City Lights bookstore, Golden Gate Park, China Beach, Ocean Beach, Baker Beach, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Bridge, neighborhood bars in Sunset and Richmond, Ft. Point, walks along Marine Drive, Giants baseball, otter and sea lion watching in the harbor, Alioto's, walking through Sutro Heights, The Cliff House, Palace of Fine Arts, Sausalito, Mt. Tam, etc., etc., etc.

Are you sure you visited San Francisco? The one in California?

Boulder

Nothing that bad about Boulder other than it being full of narcissists, hippies, and assholes (sometimes 2 or 3 in the same person). But given the extremely high expectation that outsiders have it really is very overrated. There are better places in Colorado and even better in other nearby mountain states.

Nobody overrates New Orleans outside of Louisiana. I'd say Austin.

New Orleans...locals will try to pass off their crime and filth by calling it culture or something but the place is kind of a dump.

Fun place to party though. May be going in a couple of months to have a nice bender
