As soon as that line "We need a blackhat hacker named Hathaway." came up and then they showed Chris Hemsworth, I said pass.

Does not surprise me. My buddy and I went to see it Friday night and we were the only two people in the theater, not joking. Never had that happen before. American Sniper was packed though...

A friend and I were the only 2 in the theater when we saw the Simpsons movie. It was about a week or two after it came out, on a weekday, and early in the afternoon.

Seriously though. Give me a fricking break, they have to try harder than that.

It's usually just me and whoever I go to the movie with 95% of the time at the theater.

This movie looks like it belongs in the 90's when everyone still thought hackers were genius, martial artist, spy hunters.

I'll bet it's awesome if you imagine you're watching it in the 90's back before action movies had to make any sense.

I saw it. Was ok. Laughable action scenes and yeah Hemsworth had godlike fighting, detective and hacker skills

I didn't hate Public Enemies. It wasn't near as good as I hoped but it was okay

Bad casting. Hemsworth as a hacker?

Confusing presentation. Is it a hacking movie or an action movie?

Terrible weekend to open. As someone mentioned, right up against American Sniper.

All in all , a recipe for failure.

This.

Chris Hemsworth is globally viewed as Thor and nothing else. Seeing him in this action/thriller is not what people want to see.

Doesn't help that it opened against American Sniper.

Not really true. He was regarded as one of the best parts of Rush. He's done non-action roles and done fine. This movie just looked silly.

Hemsworth is a good actor IMO. This movie wanted a super-hacker/action hero so I guess he fit the bill as much as anyone would've. It was decently entertaining. Just turn your brain off for two hours.
