Two more spots just opened up for signing day right?
The staff probably had some feeling that Robinson would be gone IMO. LSU should have several CB's in the '15 class.

How long before Robinson transfers to Auburn?
Posted on 1/18/15 at 7:51 pm to Big Block Stingray
He could go lower tier college ball then do the NFL

Look on the bright side, at least we got the annual offseason "starter gets kicked off team" event over with early this year.

Well shite. Sucks... for us, the program, and them.
Well, Iman Marshall did we not just become more attractive? Get 'em O.

Dude had one big game against A&M/Mike Evans. Our defensive backfield will be more than fine without him.
This.
RR had a lot of potential and talent, but outside of the TAMU game vs Mike Evans he didn't do that much. And was beat a good bit this year.
Sucks that he's gone because he could have been a great player. But we will be fine.
And RR had multiple chances to get his school shite in order and he knew what would happen if eh didn't do it. I mean we suspended him in the seson because of it just a few months later he's gone. He didn't learn and he let everyone down.

Not that I'm happy that he's gone but I'll throw this out there.. No fb may mean that we are less likely to line up in power/I form if we don't have proper personnel.

I agree for the most part. Robinson got a lot of love around here without being the best CB on the team.

Why everyone crying over the use of initials?
Jesus Christ it's not that big of a deal, shite. Wanna see who he's talking about, clink on the freaking link...

Melvin was very disappointed that he was moved to FB, so despite the other issues I am sure that he is looking forward to pursuing the linebacker position elsewhere.

I know there was some inconsistency, but this guy had the whole package/skill set. I wonder if some of his spotty play was a result of his issues.
I know you can only do so much but I hope we offered him as much support as possible. I can't get myself to take a see you later approach. I hate to see him gone.

Pretty sure we can insert someone into the FB position. We'll always line up in the I don't get too excited. David Ducre says hi too. Definitely will start at FB now.

Cute. Until they miss assignments and cost us a championship because of their inexperience.

I like John David Moore at that position. He and The Mouton kid could fill that roll. They will be fine. It may allow Upchurch to use his versatility coming out backfield as well. However, it still stings to lose a guy like Melvin Jones.

With Jones leaving, I know Ducre will be at the FB position, but could it be possible for Williams to play there some as well, much like Kenny Hilliard?
