I've been crying all night like I do every championship game that LSU isn't in. It reminds me of the days when all my friends would go to parties and never invite me.

We can't even find 1 quarterback? If we got to our third it would have been Foster or Kragthorpe. LOL.

Let's assume somehow, Harris is an absolute stud next year.

Our #2 is still going to be godawful and our #3 will be..........oh, let's not even discuss that abortion if we ever had to get there.

I'm sure Ohio St fans were saying the same thing last year after they got smoked in back to back games by Mich St and Clemson.

Or what about Auburn when they were 3-8 three years ago.

We need to fix a few things but LSU is a talented team.

And all the while OSU will be loading up to repeat. Scary to think how much better they can be next year.

With the threat of the pass. Jones threw for over 225 and was accurate. Amazing what that does for the running game.

Wrong.... OsU ran the ball because they were playing a PAC 12 team that they could control the line against. Don't pass if you don't have to.

oregon slings it during conference play and doesn't play ball control. OSU just punch them in the mouth. But be sure and ask JT Barrett if they can pass when he's starting next year. big 10 scoring record holder this year while only playing 8 games.

This board needs to show some balls.

We get it, we're not as good as the national champions, our QBs haven't shown improvement, and the offense is stale. Everyone sees all that. All the message board whining does not make it any more clear.

LSU is not even remotely close to OSU and Oregon at QB and Offensive Line. Not very close at TE, DL, and LB either. Only RB, WR and DB are comparable.

Tigers got to find FIVE OL's that can play as ONE and learn all their reads and assignments. Doesn't matter how "Big and Strong" they are individually. LSU is not even close in this area and will not sniff any kind of SEC or National Championship until the god awful QB and OL problems (Recruiting) are fixed. Has to start there........

We are two players away from competing for a national championship. A QB and a DE. The table is set everywhere else

Really?? Some of you people are crazy! LSU almost beat bama with No QB, and beat some pretty good teams without one. If LSU can get solid QB play we are right back in it. A great DC hire and a QB that can play ball LSU is back to kicking butt. Go Tigers!!

Yea its not like their QB threw for nearly 250 yds. and kept the D off balance or anything.

I disagree.

While LSU may be far behind OSU, what I saw last night made me think LSU could've beaten Oregon.

I believe LSU's defense could've stopped the Oregon attack. On offense, as I was watching with my brother in law, he asked why OSU kept trying to throw it. I agreed and noticed that Oregon couldn't stop OSU's running game, and that LSU would've just run right at them. I think after that last turnover, Urban decided that he should just keep running the ball. I think they attempted one pass after that on a 3rd down.
