Plenty of high school superstars had incorrect Rivals/Scout 40 times.

DeAnthony Thomas just last year, with his "4.2" 40 and top 5 rating as high school senior ran a 4.5 flat at 175 pounds and fell to the 4th round. And that's a guy with no character concerns.

Correct, DrafTek has him going at #32 to the Patriots. CBS and NFLDraftScout have him going #15 to San Fran.

I see him as a 2nd round guy.

Very possible with an average or below average combine, or if he botches his meetings with GM's at the combine.

But if that doesn't happen, he's gone in the first round. Just too big of a physical freak.

And considering how the NFL has responded recently to cases of physical abuse, and how guys like Justin Blackmon, Josh Gordon, and others have sat out considerable time for failed drug tests,

i think josh gordon is an excellent comparison to DGB in terms of talent/issues, and i think a similar draft slot will take place

Funchess has a similar physical set without the baggage (although not quite as fast). I see Cooper, White, Parker, and Strong definitely going 1st round. Funchess and DGB could be end of first round, but probably early 2nd.

The guy is an absolute freak and probably goes in the first round even with his issues. His highlights are redonkulus.

He will have to royally frick up/get hurt to not go in the first round.

no

he'll have to magically perform (in physical tests and interviews) to get into the 1st round

i don't think he's as big of a freak as you think he is, physically, and if he is, similar freaks fell way out of the 1st due to similar concerns

He'd be better off staying one more year - he could be a 1st round lock in 2016 if he had one productive year @ OU to shake off the rust and rehab his off-field image.

Instead, he's rolling the dice and could be a 3rd round pick this year.

Seems kinda dumb.

I'll stick with the 5 mock drafts that have him going in the first round over your opinion on him.

I don't think you realize how big a physical freak he is.

What are you talking about? 5 mock drafts have him going in the first round, why in the frick would he stay for no reason?

6'6 225 and has 4.4 speed.

He's absurd.

Must have failed more drug tests at OU. I can't see another explanation.

Or maybe DGB left because Jay Norvell, the WR coach was fired.

For what it's worth, rotoworld expected him to leave without playing a down since at least August 2014.

i agree with this. it would be 100x easier for him to get into the 1st round if he goes back to a major college and performs highly

i mean he never even dominated college

Exactly. San Francisco, New England, Seattle...he's going to be set too.
