Isn't our main problem that we have only one coaching spot left as allowed by the NCAA? So if we bring in O, we have to promote from within for DC? And if we hire an outside DC, he won't be able to bring in any of his own assistants?

Pretty sure if Ogeron is lobbying for a position on the radio, I think this is the second "I'd love to coach at LSU" interview he's had, then there is no serious consideration by LSU. At this point, you'd have to think they've contacted whoever they have interest in. Personally, I'd love to see Ogeron as a DL coach/recruiter @ LSU but if he's on the radio expressing his desire to coach at LSU, then that means he's hoping somebody is listening.

The longer O doesn't have a job, the better it looks that he's headed to LSU in my opinion.
You telling me that schools are just passing on this guy whose out of a job, who is arguably one of the best recruiters in the country?
The only school who wouldn't need O would be Bama. aTm would be dumb as hell to not contact him and offer him a ridiculous amount of money.
I believe les has already talked to him, and miles is just waiting on the DC hiring, then he will adjust his staff accordingly.
