Ok, I'm a noted Hannagriff fanboy. This is true. But I digress...

And I paraphrase "For the First time in the Les Miles era, I am more concerned about The Program than I am about the team".

Thoughts?

The offense is dismal, recruiting is at a stand still (at the moment), LSU just lost their DC. I understand his concerns, but if LSU makes the right hire, I think things will start to look up. BUT QB play, has to get better, and LSU needs to finish strong, in recruiting.

That statement is a bulls eye and people don't realize at all just how combustible the situation is with the players and coaches.

I root for, in this order:

1) The Program
2) The Team in a given year
3) The team in a given game.

Some others do it in exactly the opposite.

To each his/her own.

You know what's combustible? I'll tell you. If I were an offensive or defensive lineman I would damn well give Jennings a piece of my mind and tell him he'd better complete the nest 5 damn passes or I'm coming after his arse. Light a fire under him. Nobody's doing that. No player is that fragile we have to tip toe around their feelings.

Now, I feel better.

More like try to light that fire under Brandon Harris arse. He needs to get his head out of his arse by the time spring rolls around.

Well, the administration sees the writing on the wall. New nutrition center and Tiger Stadium renovations are not the time to get stuck with contractual obligations to a lame duck staff.

We can't afford to get rid of Miles until 2016. His inability to identify or develop a QB is obviously not just a trend, but a constant. LSU has the other positions consistently solid with 3 classes of recruiting.

I think Patterson could be a kid already developed enough to break the string. We just have to convince him that Miles won't be a part of the plan.

BTW, I see eye to eye w Hanagriff on most things LSU too. The time was right for Miles to move on. I really wish It could have worked out for him and Michigan. Crash and burn from here I'm afraid. Next year will be another disappointment. Hopefully, we are proactive enough to keep the talent level necessary to stay competitive.

Your right the QB issue is a big problem. Miles needs to take the fricking handcuffs of and sling the fricking ball. And if QB 1 can't do it go to QB 2 and if that don't do it go to QB 3 and QB 4. 5 6 7. Just throw the fricking ball please throw the fricking BALL

Spoken like a dumbass sunshine pumper. Have you watched LSU'S offense/quarterback play since Flynn left?

One Bowl game does not indicate what Chavis has meant to LSU. Think Malaveto for a second.

Jarrett Lee was actually playing well until the return of Jefferson. Mett was solid as well.

The Titanic hit an iceberg in the BCS game a few years back. The bow is now dipping below water level, but you go ahead making cocktails with the ice you have on deck.

Geez, can we wait until next year and hope for the best? Most reasonable people knew this year was going to be tough. Did you think we were going to light the world on fire with freshman at wr and qb. And did any of you complaining about the Qb play watch the wide angle tape to tell if everyone else was doing what they were supposed to?
