I like chimes because its a lot of dam food and fairly priced. Other notable options are Dempseys, City Cafe, Sammy's

Honorable mention to Nagoya buffet if you like quantity.
Very tasty frog legs btw.

The correct answer is Parrain's

Bias aside, my #1 is Dempseys. I think they have the best fry kitchen in town.
I don't recommend sammys. They must not use different vats for different things because everything, from the chicken fried steak to the fried oysters to the French fries, tastes the same.

I second Dempseys, better than chimes and cheaper (or it was last time I ate there) but that's just my humble opinion

I'm gonna throw Jasmines on the Bayou in the mix.

As a teenager, growing up and making my own choices at restaurants, my very cultured and savvy aunt from New Orleans told me, "Leave those seafood platters alone, specially the fried. The food loses its flavor to frying and they're loaded with calories."
I'm glad I listened.

Fixed it for you.
Chimes and Parrain's are your best bets. But you know a good place for fried seafood you might not think of? Pastime Restaurant. You get a lot of food and it is tasty.

I crave fried seafood from time to time, so it's a nice treat to have occasionally. Plus.. cocktail sauce
